Tuberville
Dr. J Durell Tuberville
Ph.D, LPC, LPC-S, LMFT
(deceased Aug. 2017)

Durell was a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and the President of Personal Solutions. He was also a LPC Supervisor for Counselor Interns pursuing their state licensure. After being raised in the Shreveport area, Durell was involved in trauma recovery since 1989. He served as Chaplain for the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department and Caddo Fire District #3.
In addition to assisting with trauma recovery, Durell’s areas of expertise included working with individuals and families within issues such as marriage, anxiety, depression, parenting, divorce, crisis and grief.
Durell held a Ph.D in Human Services and a M.A. in Counseling and Guidance. Other certifications he had earned include Certified Trauma Specialist, Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, EMDR Therapist and Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor. Durell was a dynamic public speaker and could provide energizing training seminars on a variety of topics such as leadership, conflict resolution, problem solving and personality.

Patti
Dr. Patti F. Bornaman
Ph.D, LPC, LPC-S, LMFT

Patti is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She is also a LPC Supervisor for Counselor Interns pursuing their state licensure.
After being raised in the Shreveport area, Patti has over fifteen years of experience in working within areas that include marriage and family issues, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, parenting, divorce, crisis response, life changes and grief recovery. Patti is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and works with victims of trauma.
Patti provides patients of local physicians with evaluation and counseling for bariatric procedures.
Patti holds a Ph.D in Psychology and Counseling, a M.A. in Counseling and Guidance, a B.S. in Psychology and a A.A. in General Studies. She has served as an adjunct instructor with LSU-Shreveport and Bossier Parish Community College.

Bob
Bob Clanton
Ph.D, LCP

Bob is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist (LCP).
After being raised in the Sarepta / Springhill area, Bob has over ten years of experience working in hospital, community mental health, and private practice settings. His areas of expertise include psychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults, as well as, psychotherapy with adults and families. Bob is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and works with victims of trauma.
Bob holds a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. He has served as an instructor with the University of Arkansas – Monticello, teaching general psychology.

Thomas
Thomas Davison
Psy.D, LPC

Dr. Davison is a Licensed Profession Counselor (LPC) who specializes in children, youth, marriage, and family issues.
After being raised in New Mexico and living in various areas, Dr. Davison has been in the Shreveport area since 2013. He has over ten years of experience working extensively with children and families to help correct unwanted or destructive behavior in both outpatient services and the New Mexico foster care system. His focus is in the family dynamic, and how parents can help their children of all ages be successful in their behavior, schooling, and social lives. He was previously head of Christian Family Services where he worked with individuals of all ages in dealing with relational, behavioral, and mental health stressors. He also has extensive experience counseling with adults in a variety of settings and issues.
He uses both cognitive behavioral therapy and systematic approaches to help clients understand what internal motivations lead to unwanted or problematic behaviors. Clients look at ways to change these beliefs into more healthy choices. He also helps individuals understand how outside influences and other people contribute to behaviors – which allows the clients to create healthier relationships.
Dr. Davison holds a Psy.D and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Davison also provides training seminars on a variety of topics. He does regular anger management sessions with individuals and groups. He has given talks on emotional well-being, parenting skills and techniques, marriage enrichment, and pre-marital counseling. He additionally has provided training on school aged related topics such as bullying, dealing with high functioning autism, and teen suicide.
